The rise in popularity of street food has made it an increasing competitive market, and Rola Wala wanted to stand out. With their unique take on Indian street food, big flavours and even bigger ideas, we’ve had the fantastic opportunity to work with them to build their brand.
They were moving fast and needed their visual identity to keep up. It all started by pitching a logo concept to them, they liked it and the rest, as they say, is history. Since then it’s been a rollercoaster ride of branding, print material, packaging, websites and anything else you can think of.

Originally Rola Wala’s offering was a toasted naan roll and that was the inspiration for the brand. Creating a stand out o in Rola Wala that could be lifted to be used in isolation as a iconic mark for the business that could be come instantly recognised.
Once the brand was taking shape we looked into applications across a wide variety of collateral they needed throughout their business.
One of the joys of this job was Rola Wala’s commitment to excellent brand implementation. They wanted the brand to always look fantastic and were willing to invest in the finishing and fabric of their materials and premises to do so. We’ve etched in to wood, cut from sheet metal, ghost written on walls and laser cut into phone cases and many more.
Rola Wala is the widest reaching project we’ve done to date and covered all kinds of applications and media. It was a fantastic experience to work with Rola Wala as their vision for the company is so exciting and their drive to make it as good as it can be was infectious. They really pushed us on the visuals to make them always stand out and it’s resulted in a really strong brand that has captured their customers and is going from strength to strength.
