Scottish Perinatal Network was created to help provide a more collaborative, strategic approach to mother and baby care in Scotland, by bringing together Maternity and Neonatal healthcare providers and local stakeholders into a single network. The branding had to sensitively represent a new shared identity, while still allowing subtle differentiation between the two pathways.
The flow and sharing of information and knowledge is visually represented by three interwoven circles that form a single looping line of colour in the logo. The cradling parent-child form is sensitive and gender-neutral, and the cutout shapes of the accompanying brand elements speak to the different providers and facets of care that come together to provide the best care for families and babies in these early months.
