Project Lift is an NHS initiative for identifying and cultivating the leadership potential in their staff. This was a vision we fully support and were really excited to get behind. We developed a brand and website to envision this idea of helping staff from all levels to ‘fly’. The butterfly is synonymous with endurance, change, hope and life, all of which are central to Project Lift.
We are excited to see the NHS investing in the leaders of the future; supporting their staff to live their potential.
The brand focusses on the power of individual and the potential they have to transform care. It asks people to participate in the process and join a movement rather than access a service. Challenging the status quo in the NHS project lift aims to expand thinking and open conversations about what a leader looks like? How do we show leadership?
The mark was derived from the NHS Scotland mark rooted n the original form but allowing it to open it’s wings and transform into something more diverse, inclusive and engaging.
As well as building a brand and identity for project lift both we were commissioned to deliver a digital tool that can help to manage the process and act as a assistant to the project lift team as they take people on a journey through their careers.
Working within NHS’ IT infrastructure we’ve developed a web application that allows users to take an online self-assessment and generate a leadership profile that gives insight into their leadership potential. The tool also allows project lift team to take individuals through a career conversation process, recording their progress and removing a logistical and administration load so the team can focus on the relationships and people within our unique NHS.
Project lift has been and continues to be a fantastic project to be involved in and one that we are really proud of. Our work for project lift encompasses the full range of services at Daysix and a huge success of the project has been how open project lift team have been to us becoming integrated in their processes and conversations.
This feels like just the beginning and we’re excited to see how we can transform care together in the coming years.
