Transforming trauma care in partnership with NHS GG&C and the Scottish trauma Network.

Daysix and EmQuire developed a prototype app that maps a small subset of trauma protocol. Simulations took place in two Scottish hospitals with the aim of exploring the impact of a digital solution on care delivery and outcomes. The results from those simulations encouraged Innovate UK to fund the project to develop the prototype further.

Our early prototype has showed a real hunger for a solution that is adopted by all centres in Scotland (and eventually to international markets). This project has been instigated by clinicians and driven by the national body responsible for change in Scotland.

Building towards evaluation

We’re delighted to announce that Daysix has been awarded £223,119 by Innovate UK to develop the trauma app. A further £136,555 has been awarded to our partner EmQuire, who will support the project with clinical expertise and app evaluation.

We’ve currently undertaking a two-year project due for completion in Q3 of 2020 where we’ll have an application that records the full episode of care and provides decision support to clinicians. To keep up to date with the project sign up for our updates at the project website.
